V are 4 Safety!

Safety of participants and speakers is our utmost priority, therefore, we would like to kindly call the attention of our participants to the fact that additional measures are put in place to be able to welcome you to the seminar. We kindly ask you to assist us at all times adhering to this protocol, as we all carry responsibility for each other’s health and safety.

We strive to ensure the safety of the participants and the speakers of the event, and, thus, with the ongoing health situation in mind, we have decided to employ a hybrid format for the Antall József Autumn Seminar 2020. Because of the pandemic situation in Hungary as well as worldwide, we have made a decision to limit the number of on-site participants, besides welcoming a wider range of participants online. Furthermore, our speakers and panellists will be offered the choice of being present in person or on-line.

The Antall József Knowledge Centre will continue to strictly follow the instructions of the Hungarian Authorities, the European Centre for disease prevention and Control, as well as the World Health Organisation, and will update you accordingly at the venue.  Moreover, as we take the current situation caused by the pandemic very seriously, we will go beyond the above-mentioned measures to make sure that our Participants, Speakers, and the Organising Team are safe and healthy. We kindly ask your cooperation in this matter, and we apologies in advance if, in keeping these measures, any inconvenience is caused.

Implementation of Preventive Measures

During the event, you will be asked to follow the implemented preventive measures (including wearing masks as required, handwashing and respiratory/cough etiquette, hand hygiene practices) and to avoid meeting in groups between sessions (e.g. coffee breaks, close contact risk scenarios).

After the event you are kindly asked to inform the meeting organiser immediately if you are confirmed by health authorities to have COVID-19 or if you are placed in quarantine within 14 days of the meeting, so that necessary contact tracing in association with a COVID-19 case may be carried out.
